Help us convince New Jersey lawmakers to follow the lead of many other states by authorizing the issuance of license plates signifying the Distinguished Flying Cross. Other states have already taken the initiative and have been issuing DFC plates for years. Before moving to New Jersey, Ted drove proudly with his special plates.

Where we stand now
Ted has already made significant progress towards raising the issue in New Jersey. Bill S227/A980 has been passed by the state Senate and is awaiting a vote from the state Assembly.

How you can help
Let the New Jersey politicians know that you feel that our war veterans deserve recognition for their bravery and sacrifice. The bill's sponsors, with links to their profiles, are listed on the bill's web page. The Assembly bill's sponsors are Jeffrey Moran and Christopher Connors.

Precendents
Many states currently offer DFC plates. The following states do, although this is not a complete list: Arkansas, Delaware, Georgia (starting in 2003), Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Wisconsin.
